Pregnancy and breastfeeding - taking vitamin D supplements during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be consulted with a doctor. Too much vitamin D can cause fetal deformity and bone disease in the newborn.

According to the European Food Safety Authority, the safe level (UL **) of vitamin D from all sources for adults and children from 11 years of age is 100 μg (micrograms). For children from 1 to 10 years of age - 50 μg.
